Welcome to the evidence project

EVIDENCE-based Infection Prevention in Critically Ill Patients

The EVIDENCE-project aims to promote knowledge of evidence-based measures for preventing healthcare-associated infection in healthcare professionals working in a critical care environment. As a part of this project, we have developed a web-based interactive e-learning Crash Course on infection prevention that comprehensibly and comprehensively bundles all basic information on preventing infections in critical care settings.

For the current study, we are looking for healthcare professionals who work in a critical care environment and who are willing to study our Crash Course on-line. We would like to include as many as possible participants from all around the world. Therefore, we would be most grateful and obliged to count you and your colleagues - nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists and others who care for the critically ill- among our study participants. Additional information on the EVIDENCE-project and the current study can be found by checking the menu at the left side of the screen.

The EVIDENCE-study has been ended on 15 July 2012. The lottery drawing will take place end of July. All participants will be informed about the results by e-mail.
Thank you for your interest. For all further information, please contact Sonia Labeau at sonia.labeau@hogent.be.
